At Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week, designers  showed flowing, wispy waves. Other designers had a more complicated look or simple up-do. Every hair style was elegant and defiantly went well with the garment on the Runway.

This trend is being used as a Feminine alternative to the classic belt. This trend is somewhat considered and inspired by the Gothic look. Many are wearing this look on and off the runway to add a hard edge.

Jillian Lewis was born and raised in the small town Selden in Long Island, NY. In 2003, she graduated from Parsons School of Design. She worked with Ralph Lauren and Searle as a conceptual designer.

She has Collection starting from Fall 2008, Fall and Spring 2009 and her latest one is Spring 2010
